Cat’s Claw® softwood fence fasteners replace fence staples and u-nails on cedar, pine, spruce and other softwood posts. They install up to 4× faster than staples and hold barbed wire, welded wire and cattle panels tighter, without splitting the post the way a driven staple does.

Built for ranchers, farmers, landowners and contractors running or repairing wire fence. This 2″ version is designed for softwood posts, where the longer fastener provides better grip. Every clip is removable and reusable, so you can re-tension or re-run wire without cutting anything out - even on older or weathered posts.

For hardwood posts such as oak, hedge or hickory, use the Cat’s Claw® Hardwood version for best results.
