304 stainless steel deck screws for decking, fencing and general outdoor timber work. They hold fast in both hardwoods and softwoods - cedar, redwood, pressure-treated pine - and resist the rust streaking that carbon steel and coated screws leave down a board within a season.

At 2-1/2″ this is the general-purpose length for decking boards, fence rails, pergolas and outdoor furniture, with more than enough corrosion resistance for docks and jetties by lakes or rivers, including brackish water.

Note: Pre-drilling recommended for dense woods to avoid splitting.
