Cat's Claw Hardwood Fence Fasteners - Staple Replacement for Hardwood & Plastic Posts

Cat’s Claw® hardwood fence fasteners replace fence staples and u-nails on oak, hedge, hickory and plastic posts, where a driven staple splits the wood or works loose. They install up to 4× faster than staples and hold barbed wire, welded wire and cattle panels tighter - including on older, weathered posts that no longer take a staple.

Built for ranchers, farmers, landowners and contractors fencing hardwood posts. This 1.5″ version is sized for dense hardwoods and plastic posts. Every clip is removable and reusable, so you can re-tension or re-run wire without cutting anything out.

For softwood posts such as cedar, pine and spruce, use the Cat’s Claw® Softwood version for best results.
