We saw the need for screws that were designed by someone that used them everyday - by carpenters, for carpenters. So, 2010, we partnered with a trusted Taiwanese manufacturer to launch Eagle Claw Fasteners in South Africa, setting new standards for corrosion resistance in the Algoa Bay area.

2010
Partnership and Launch
We partnered with a Taiwanese manufacturer and launched Eagle Claw Fasteners in the South African market. Introducing our first range of stainless steel screws and they were very well received.

Our products entered the US market and slowly began to gain traction for their durability, and earned a loyal following among builders, contractors, and deck layers.

Dealer & Contractor Focus
We expanded our support for dealers and contractors, offered tailored pricing, and a larger selection of tools and fasteners for a wider variety of applications.
2025
Broadened Product Range
To better serve the construction industry, we introduced Simpson Strong-Tie products, complementing our signature Eagle Claw Fasteners and allowing us to tap into a larger market.
