#10 x 2" 304 Grade Stainless Steel Wood Screws

304 stainless steel wood screws for exterior trim, fencing, decking repairs and general outdoor joinery. They hold fast in both hardwoods and softwoods - cedar, redwood, pressure-treated pine - and resist the rust streaking that carbon steel and coated screws leave down a board within a season.

At 2″ this is the length for fence boards, trim, thinner decking stock and repair work where a longer screw would blow through.

Note: Pre-drilling recommended for dense woods to avoid splitting.

Step up to 316 marine grade for salt spray and coastal air, tidal or brackish water, pool and spa decks where chlorine is in play, or anything sitting permanently in or over water. For everything else - rain, snow, lakes, rivers and fresh water - 304 is the right grade and costs less.
